The influence of system and process design on the occurrence of human errors in intralogistics using the example of order picking
The project was carried out in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Patrick Neumann and Prof. Dr. Mohamad Jaber from Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada. Essentially, four sub-topics were worked on:
1. The role of human errors in manual material handling using the example of order picking;
2. Ergonomic and economic evaluation of equipment for manual load handling;
3. Use of data glasses for error reduction in manual order picking warehouses;
4. Investigation of learning and forgetting effects in dual- channel supply chains.
