Campus navigation tool of the TU Darmstadt
By Car
Take the A5 or A67 as far as exit “Darmstadt-Mitte”. Then go straight on to the city center (“Stadtmitte”). On entering the city tunnel (“Innenstadt Tunnel”), turn right first; once in the tunnel, turn left and follow the city ring road (“City-Ring”). At the next traffic lights turn left. Stay on the city ring road, pass the Darmstadtium and the Technische Universität, then keep right and turn into the underground car park “Schlossgarage/Karolinenplatz”.
By public transport
From Darmstadt HBF (central station), take the bus or tram direction “Luisenplatz” and get off at “Schloß” (see map: in front of building S3|12). From there, walk to the university building.
How to find our building
From the tram/bus station or parking garage, cross over “Karolinenplatz” and pass by the “Welcome Hotel” to the university. You will find us in building S1|02, ground floor, room 43. On the map you can see a section of the inner city campus of the TU Darmstadt. The building S1|02, where the rooms of the department are located, and the entrance to the parking garage are highlighted in color. Please note that only the main entrance of S1|03 is open after 6pm.
