Marc Füchtenhans, a doctoral student at the Department of Production and Supply Chain Management at TU Darmstadt, has convincingly defended his dissertation on 12 August 2025 with the topic “Investigating Sustainability Dimensions in Selected Intralogistics and Production Processes” and thus very successfully completed the doctoral procedure. He was supervised by Prof. Dr. Christoph Glock, TU Darmstadt, as an examiner and by Jun.-Prof. Dr. Eric Grosse, Saarland University as a co-examiner.

Marc has made outstanding contributions to our institute over the past years — in research, teaching, and administration — and has been a valued colleague throughout his time here. He has now left the institute to pursue a career outside academia.
