2025/07/09
What a great success for our team: Three Commended Paper Awards at the latest IFAC MIM2025 – 11th IFAC Conference on Manufacturing Modelling, Management and Control! The first paper entitled “Human robot collaboration in warehousing operations: a sociotechnical analysis” investigates the impact of different types of robots on physical, mental, perceptual and psychosocial human factors. The second paper, “Considering Aging Workforce Characteristics in Production Scheduling: Literature Review and Extended Job Shop Modelling Approach”, presents the results of a systematic literature review on how ageing factors have been considered in job shop scheduling models so far, and it proposed an extended dual resource constrained job shop scheduling model based on the insights of the review. The third paper entitled ”Supply Chain Disruptions and Manufacturing Strategies: The Case of Exceptional Positive Demand Events”.
All papers will be available open access in the conference proceedings very soon!
We thank all authors of these papers, namely Ting Zheng, Patrick Neumann, Marc Füchtenhans, Niloofar Katiraee, Debra Dobbs, Matthias Klumpp and Christoph Glock, for their contribution to these papers and making this success possible!
